About CWP

Dan Haugen is President of Certified Wood Products, Inc. A 1977 graduate of the University of Minnesota College of Natural Resources, Dan owned and operated Haugen Forest Products, a manufacturer of semi-finished forest products, for 25 years. After selling his business in 2000, he founded CWP to ensure that the values in which he most believed -- responsibility that is market competitive in every imaginable way -- remained a vital part of the forest products industry.

Certified Wood Products, Inc. is located in Maple Lake, MN. Our 20,000 square foot warehouse allows us to stock for immediate delivery a wide variety of FSC-certified products, including framing lumber, plywood, oriented strandboard, particleboard, and hardwood lumber and millwork. We also stock preservative and fire-retardant treated products. However, because project needs can vary greatly, CWP makes every effort to source and deliver nearly any FSC-certified product, no matter how unusual or hard to find. We supply orders as small as a pickup full, or as much as a semi-truck load, and we ship nationwide.
